DriveLens vs. Maxymo: Multi-App Automation vs. Offer Intelligence

September 13, 2026

Maxymo and DriveLens both do automation-adjacent work around Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash, but the split between "full support" and "helper tools" in Maxymo's own materials matters more than the platform count on its marketing page. DriveLens is narrower and goes deeper on the specific job of scoring an Uber or Lyft offer correctly, with a payout floor, net profit math, and zone intelligence Maxymo doesn't have.

Disclosure: we build DriveLens. Maxymo details come from Maxymo's own public materials, verified as of September 2026. Verify at maxymoapp.com before deciding. Sources linked at the end.

Where DriveLens pulls ahead

  • A hard payout floor built into scoring. Maxymo only gets there indirectly, through filters you configure yourself.
  • Net profit after real vehicle costs. Maxymo tracks earnings and mileage but doesn't model net profit.
  • A personal pickup heatmap and dropoff zone intelligence, from your own ride history. Maxymo has neither.
  • Four overlay display modes, so you control how much information sits on screen.
  • A $0 free tier with no time limit. Maxymo is trial-then-subscription.
  • Your driving history stays on your device by default. Maxymo's does not.

Maxymo's real strength is automation depth on Android for the platforms it fully supports, worth taking seriously if that's what you need.

The platform split, plainly

Maxymo has full support for three platforms: Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash. Beyond those three, its own materials describe lighter, helper-level tools rather than full feature parity, so if you're weighing Maxymo specifically for a platform outside that core three, confirm what "supported" actually means for it before you commit.

On the phone question: Android gets full automation. On iOS, Maxymo is analysis and tracking only, because Apple doesn't permit iOS apps to control other apps the way Android does. DriveLens has the mirror problem in sharper form: Android-only, full stop, and currently onboarding testers rather than in general release. If you're on iPhone, Maxymo's iOS build is available to you today and DriveLens's iOS app is still in development.

Where Maxymo leads

App switching, pausing other platforms when you accept and reactivating when you finish, is the same feature Mystro built its reputation on, and it's a real time-saver for drivers running Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash together. Custom filters let you auto-accept and auto-decline at volume, and cross-platform earnings and mileage tracking consolidates work across those three apps into one view.

Maxymo is also on iPhone today, in an analysis-and-tracking capacity, while DriveLens's iOS build is still in development.

Why the payout floor and net profit modeling matter

Percentages flatter small rides: a $3.25 fare over 0.7 miles posts a great per-mile rate and is still not worth the wheel. DriveLens enforces a minimum payout in dollars alongside the rate check; Maxymo's filters can approximate this, but it isn't a built-in part of the grade the way it is in DriveLens.

DriveLens also models what a mile costs you (fuel, wear, depreciation) and reports net pay per hour rather than gross. Maxymo tracks earnings and mileage but doesn't publish an equivalent cost-per-mile model. See what a mile actually costs you and, if you're weighing a vehicle change, EV vs. gas for rideshare and choosing a car for rideshare driving.

The heatmap Maxymo doesn't have

DriveLens builds a personal pickup heatmap and dropoff zone intelligence from your own ride history, not pooled driver data, showing where your good rides start and which drop-offs strand you. Understanding your DriveLens heatmap explains reading it.

On automation and platform terms

Auto-accept features interact with Uber's and Lyft's terms of service, and those terms change. We're not claiming Maxymo will cause problems; we have no basis for that. If automation appeals to you, read the current driver terms yourself. Avoiding rideshare account deactivation covers the triggers drivers tend not to anticipate. DriveLens doesn't automate acceptance, a choice about keeping judgment with the driver.

The bottom line

Pick DriveLens if you drive mainly Uber and Lyft, want a built-in payout floor, real net-profit math, and a personal heatmap, want free mileage and tax tracking, and you're on Android and can join testing now.

Pick Maxymo if you run Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash together and want automation on Android, or you're on iPhone and need something available today.
