Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DriveLens mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by DriveLens ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using DriveLens, you agree to these Terms.

What DriveLens is

DriveLens is a personal-use tool for rideshare drivers that reads publicly visible information already displayed on your own device screen, such as ride offer details, and uses it to provide offer grading, mileage tracking, shift logging, and earnings estimates. DriveLens does not access any rideshare platform's private APIs, backend systems, or non-public data. It only reads what is already shown on your screen while you use your device.

No affiliation with rideshare platforms

DriveLens is an independent, third-party application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise partnered with Uber, Lyft, or any other rideshare or delivery platform. All product and company names, logos, and trademarks referenced within the App are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the platforms DriveLens is compatible with.

Your responsibility regarding platform terms

Rideshare and delivery platforms maintain their own terms of service, which may restrict or prohibit the use of third-party tools like DriveLens. It is your responsibility to review and comply with the terms of any platform you drive for. Your use of DriveLens alongside any rideshare platform is entirely at your own risk, including any risk to your account standing on that platform. DriveLens is not responsible for any action taken by a rideshare platform against your account as a result of using DriveLens.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license to use DriveLens. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

Data accuracy is not guaranteed

DriveLens relies on optical character recognition (OCR) and heuristic-based detection to read offer amounts and determine ride outcomes. These methods are not perfect. DriveLens does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any offer grade, earnings estimate, mileage figure, tax deduction estimate, or outcome detection. Always verify important figures against your official platform statements before relying on them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use DriveLens for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law
• Use DriveLens to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any rideshare platform's systems
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its data outputs as your own product

Subscriptions

Certain features of DriveLens may be offered on a paid subscription basis. Where applicable, subscriptions are billed and managed through the Google Play billing system, and payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are subject to Google Play's policies in addition to these Terms.

Intellectual property

DriveLens and its logo, design, and original content are the property of DriveLens and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using DriveLens and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any given rideshare platform at any given time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriveLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost earnings or lost account access on any rideshare platform, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which DriveLens is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of DriveLens after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
